Please read carefully: Saxifrage accepts unsolicited submissions all year round. We feature only one poet or fiction writer a month, but may incorporate other genres as the press grows.

 

 

Simultaneous submissions are fine. General response times may vary, but we try to respond within a month or two. Submissions can be previously published or unpublished (as long as it is indicated where the work was originally published). 

 

Poetry: please send 3-5 poems (or up to 10 pages) in a single file (saved in .doc or .rtf format) to the email address: saxifragepoetry@gmail.com

 

Fiction: please send 1-2 short pieces or a single longer piece (up to 10 pages double-spaced) in a single file (saved in .doc or .rtf format) to the email address: saxifragefiction@gmail.com

 

Art: please send 3-5 selected images in high quality .jpeg format, not exceeding 1,500 pixels on the large side. Sculpture/Installation submissions should contain multiple angles of a single piece and artists may submit 3 sculptures equaling 6 total images. Saxifrage's art section supports all styles and mediums of visual art from oil on canvas, graphic art, street art, sculptures and everything in between. All Submissions: Include a cover letter in the body of the email with a brief bio and contact information. If considered for publication, we will request a formal bio and headshot to accompany the feature.
